Branscombe is known for being one of the longest villages in the country. It boasts two traditional Inns offering local ales and fine dining. It has a 12th Century Church and a working forge.
The pebble beach at Branscombe has clear blue seas and rock pools to explore at low tide. Throughout the summer there are mackerel fishing trips and tours of the bay provided by John our local fisherman.
The area offers beautiful unspoilt scenery, fantastic beaches and walks along the South West Coast Path. There is a thatched beach side restaurant and shop selling ice-creams, papers and holiday essentials.
